The item Illinois Getty Pocket Watch Grade 173 Mod 5 16s 15j Fahys Oresilver Case Ticking is in sale since Tuesday, June 18, 2019. if you know the date of this please let me know. Not all vintage watches can be dated using the serial number.
hope this info helps and sorry i cant give anymore but if you know about pocket watches and have anymore questions, please get in touch with you questions tell me where to look at it to find anything out and il let you know. the pocket watch has a nice weight to it so if its true what it says about the gold casing there should be a nice bit gold in it. it doesnt wind up and as i says i dont know anything about them so havent bothered looking at it. there is a stamp on it too but its very small and i cant make it out. the movement part looks nice with an engraved swirly design and every thing looks to be there. If I read the serial number on the movement right (it is not real clear when enlarging the image) it is 18413128. The watch movement is manufactured by the American Waltham Watch Co. FAHYS POCKET WATCH hi welcome to my auction for a fahys pocket watch. The Fahys Montauk is the case maker, Fahys is the maker, Montauk is the grade, a 20 year gold filled case.
